In this section of Hebrews, the Biblical author discusses how he would like to take the believers further, but the difficulty arises in that they have become 'dull of hearing.' Several consequences arise from their slothfulness in listening and responding to the Word of God. 

Pastor Joey brings a message from Hebrews chapter 5, in which he talks about Jesus being a superior high priest, and how because of who He is, we can "hold on," hold fast, and draw near."
